Bertrand Chatenet (2)

French classical horn player, and Professor of Horn. Born in 1990 in Paris, France. He studied at the Conservatoire National Supérieur De Musique Et De Danse De Paris, Musikhochschule Stuttgart (2009), and Universität Der Künste Berlin (2013). Since 2010, he has been performing with major orchestras, mostly as a soloist. These include the [a610799], the Frankfurter Opern- Und Museumsorchester, the Stuttgarter Philharmoniker, the [a451535], the Staatskapelle Dresden, the [a833686], and the London Symphony Orchestra. After he was an academic and guest of the Staatskapelle Berlin as PrincipalHhorn, he has been employed there since June 2015 as principal horn. As a soloist, he has performed with the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin, the brass ensemble of the Frankfurt Opera, the [a1320717], the Zielena Gora Philharmonic, and the Münchner Philharmoniker. Assistant Professor of Horn at the Universität der Künste Berlin, and Professor of Horn at the Haute école de musique Genève – Neuchâtel.
