Bauernkapelle Liezen

Walter Kern founded the Liezen farmers' band in 1983 with musicians from the Musikverein (town band) who shared his opinion that there is another way of making music besides the usual large brass band, such as B. the popular brass music, which is unfortunately very little heard in the present day. The musicians have therefore set themselves the task of cultivating this type of music again and making it known. A collaboration with Heribert Raich, who himself founded a small brass band (Altausseer Musikanten) in 1960 and has been leading it since then, provided the appropriate sheet music as the owner of Adler-Musik-Verlag.
