Real name is Phil Cornelisen. Phil Roberts is "Phil Cornelisen" of Green Bay, Wisconsin. Phil formed "The Centurys" rock and roll band in 1961 joined by band members Dave Pilz, Jim Morrison, Donne Cornell, and Paul Willems. Phil played saxophone and served as lead singer. He was also a song writer, penning such local chart toppers as The Fax's "Her Love," The Lonely Walk, Sapphire, and Please Tell Me. Phil continued performing throughout NE Wisconsin with such popular groups as the 2nd Century Band, Sounds of Tyme, The Rhythm Royals, The Royalty, and up until 2012 with Dick Schultz and The Shy Guys, who continue performing today.
