Debaser (14)

Active from 2003 to 2008, Toronto's Debaser was an indie rock quartet with post-punk, shoegaze and grunge influences. Debaser's releases are very hard to find. In addition to their self-titled EP (2004), and full-length Blackouts (2005) they also released the EP Between Houses (2006). The band consisted of Luke Higginson (vocals), Nevin Douglas (guitar), Jordan Bimm (bass), and Bill Turnbull (drums). Jordan Bimm was also a member of Toronto synth-pop band Put The Rifle Down. The band met while attending Toronto's Etobicoke School of the Arts. In 2007 Debaser released a split-CD with Fjord Rowboat.
