James Snodgrass

James Snodgrass is a vocalist and multi-instrumentalist born in Blackpool, UK. In the late 1990s Snodgrass lived in a shared apartment in Brooklyn, NYC, Marlborough Farms, the home and recording studio of The Ladybug Transistor. Now based in Brighton, UK, Snodgrass is a member of the experimental improvisational band Pectins and records conventional songs under the alias Gus Pectin. A former music journalist, Snodgrass wrote for Top of the Pops magazine in the 1990s and NME in the 2000s.
