Transparent Productions

Transparent Productions was started in 1997 by Bobby Hill, Herb Taylor, Larry Appelbaum and Thomas Stanley (2) – all of whom were then on-air hosts for WPFW 89.3 FM – and fellow enthusiast Vince Kargetis. They are a non-profit organization that sponsors shows in a variety of venues in Washington DC & its immediate suburbs primarily in the realm of avant garde jazz. 100% of the proceeds, from their shows, go directly to the performer/s.
