German brass band from the Würzburg area, founded in 1968 by leader German Hofmann whose daughter Karin Hofmann also sang with the orchestra under the name of "Karina" while his son Dieter was the sound engineer. The orchestra was regarded as one of the busiest in its field, its big band ensemble also acting as backing band for several well-known local artists and schlager stars.
