Imprey

Imprey consists of Barnsley duo Dan and Matt who met back in 2012 at a local music studio. They soon discovered they had identical musical tastes and both possessed extensive music production skills from previous musical endeavors. In 2015 they decided to join forces and work on their own alias "Imprey", crafting their own unique sound of deep melodic dance music. Their first release "Troika" gained crazy support from the likes of Pete Tong, Roger Sanchez, Paul Oakenfold, Benny Benassi, Low Steppa, Eelke Kleijn & Vanilla Ace to name a few! Each have played countless events in the UK and abroad including Transitions Festival (London, UK), Back to Basics (Sheffield, UK), Fez Presents (Sheffield, UK) & Eden (Ibiza, ES) alongside some of the worlds leading dance music artists including Dave Spoon/Shadow Child, Secondcity, Noir, Huxley, Infinity Ink & Darius Syrossian. October 2021 saw them tour the UK as the main support for good friend Franky Wah, warming up the crowd with a full set of their own productions. October 2021 also saw them get their first BBC Radio 1 play on Pete Tongs show. "Imprey - Stay" is due to be released this March on their own brand new imprint "Phonypoly Music".
