Квинтет Юрия Чугунова

Yuri Chugunov Quintet debuted at the 2nd Moscow Jazz Festival in 1965. Chugunov was the only professional musician in the ensemble, with other members including engineers and students, but each of them also had a few years of musical experience, playing jazz at the "Parus" youth café. The quintet was playing cool jazz mostly: both original compositions by Yuri Chugunov and re-arranged popular songs and melodies.
