Conductor Born in 1984 in the city of Gumi, South Korea, Hee-Beom Jeon began playing the flute at the age of twelve. From 2003 to 2005 he studied flute with Nils Thilo Krämer at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz, from 2007 and 2010 also choral conducting with Johannes Prinz and orchestra conducting with Martin Sieghart. During this time he was already able to conduct numerous concert evenings, such as Orff's Carmina Burana and Mozart's Concerto for Violin and Orchestra in A major (KV 219) in the Minoritensaal in Graz, as well as Anselm Hüttenbrenner's Mass in G minor in the Stefaniensaal in Graz, where he also appeared as a soloist was heard. In addition, the symphonic wind orchestra and the studio choir of the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz have engaged him several times as a conductor. In 2011, Hee Beom Jeon completed his bachelor's degree in choral conducting and orchestra conducting both with honors and began his master's degree at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz. Since March 2015 he has been the conductor of the Grazer Bläservielharmonie and director of the Riegersburg Youth Choir.
