Michael Gann

German tenor vocalist, born in Heidelberg. Ensemble member, Munich Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz 1997-2003; rôles included Pedrillo, Beppo, Ivanov, and the Witch. Guest appearances in Leipzig, Karlsruhe, Augsburg, Potsdam, Bahia, Merano, Bolzano, Forlì and Klagenfurt. Since 2007 free-lance tenor; appearances at Munich Biennale. Currently (2023) at Tiroler Landestheater, Innsbruck, where recent roles include Monostatos, 2nd Jew (Salome).
