"That Guy" was the nickname used by hip-hop artist Tim Reid II when he was a member of the group The '06 Style. He continued using the nickname doing production work in the late 1980's and early 1990's for such artists as The Arabian Prince and Young MC. He eventually began using his real name (Tim Reid II) for production credits before transitioning into a music industry executive.
