Worked for Some Bizzare, managing the k422 label between 85 - 88 (coil, foetus, swans, neubauten), helped compile and arrange interviews for book called, "tape delay" (inc. sonic youth, mark e smith, cab voltaire, nick cave, etc...). also did few bits of writing for music paper record mirror. Left to start football fanzine called, "On The Terraces" in 88, and joined the On-U-Sound crew as part of the barmy army for the album, "the english disease". Recorded most of the football chants at various west ham matches, and Adrian edited my big mouth onto a few of the tracks - mostly obscenities, while Skip, Doug and i also contributed the vocals at the beginning of the "Devo" track. Adrian and i both had season tickets in upton park's legendary chicken run, and occasionally any or all of Skip Mcdonald, Doug Wimbish, Keith Le Blanc, Bonjo, Style Scott, Steve Jameson {from world domination enterprises}, David harrow, pete holdsworth {from london underground and pressure sounds supremo) would join us, between 87 and 92. Adrian also allowed me to issue two flexidiscs, "billy bonds mbe" and "leroy's boots", via my fanzine. Missed very few "Lost" and "Burundi" parties for 15 years, and succeeded in my wish of hearing my music there. Bicknell absolutely hammered my first real release (cat. no. ott 112 tk b.2. - "War Mallette") so much he wore his copy out and i had to replace it. i was chuffed to say the least, and the thrill of hearing tracks i'd done at home on my computer being played there, and seeing hundreds of people going bonkers, barely diminished down the years... I got a slot on a pirate station where I met Ben Sims, who was later to rely on me to do his mastering & editing (esp. his first two mix cd's, "theory edits" & nye 2000 "re edits"). I released about nine or ten 12" on my own 133 & Forgery labels, until distributors Prime went bust.
