Madeleine Smyth

Originally from Hartlepool in the North East of England, Madeleine Smyth is an artist who blends viola, voice and sonic art techniques into ethereal songs and soundscapes. Learning classical viola growing up, Smyth then went on to study music at Goldsmiths, University of London, graduating in 2019. It was here that she began to compose her own music, and subsequently released her first EP Covert in December 2019. She has also created audiovisual and soundscape works and collaborated with others as a film composer.
