Australian musician, singer and songwriter, active from 1990s. Artist bio from https://www.reverbnation.com/davidchristopherbass : Formerly bass player/vocalist/songwriter for Australian power-pop outfit The New Wave Failures, David's earliest work from the bands two EPs 'What's New!' and 'Transit' gained national airplay on Australia’s Triple J network and were profiled in Rolling Stone magazine. From a chance meeting, David became involved in the world of tribute shows where he toured internationally as bass player for the critically acclaimed production Queen It's A Kinda Magic, the only show in the world endorsed by Freddie Mercury’s personal assistant, Peter Freestone. The band performed many major international TV, radio and festival appearances as well as countless live shows to sold-out theatre audiences in some of the world’s most prestigious and iconic venues. Introduced to the city of Hamburg during a European tour, David relocated there shortly after and spent the years 2007-2009 dividing his time equally between Australia and Germany, where he performed and recorded with several Hamburg acts in the downtime between ‘Magic’ tours. In 2010, along with several members from Queen It’s A Kinda Magic, David became a founding member of the theatre show ‘Freddie Mercury: Let Me Entertain You’ which made its worldwide premiere at Sydney’s Star City Casino in December 2010. In the show, David enhances and re-animates the bedrock of Queen, driving the show with such unforgettable riffs as Another One Bites The Dust and Under Pressure, where he also performs the vocal part of David Bowie.
