Barbershop tenor vocalist. Born on June 9, 1930 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Dale would go on to sing in many barbershop quartets. Dale was the tenor of the Songsmen, the 1961 Southwestern District Quartet Champions. He later sang tenor with the T-Towners for many years which had several different personnel changes over the years. In 1988, Dale temporarily replaced Harold Jones as the tenor of the Gaynotes when they came out of retirement for a couple of shows. He joined them for the society’s 50th anniversary in San Antonio, Texas. For many years Dale served as the director of the Bethel Temple Assembly Of God. Dale passed away on November 19, 2004 at the age of 74.
