Marcel Anghelescu

✰ November 3, 1909, Craiova ✞ February 22,1977, București Romanian actor and singer famous between 40's - 60's. Part of “Golden Generation of Actors”, was contemporary with Grigore Vasiliu Birlic, [a2795609], [a2482171], [a2721962], Dina Cocea and many “golden” actors. He became famous in September 17, 1948, when he acted in theatre play “O scrisoare pierdută” by Ion Luca Caragiale in Ghiță Pristanda role at National Theatre Bucharest. From summer of 1971 until 1973 was director of Theatre from Ploiești, Prahova County. During his career, he played many many roles in many theatre and radio plays, and movies.
