Larry Monroe (2)

Radio DJ, program director and station manager. After working at KLIF in Dallas, Texas in the mid-1950s, Monroe went on to work at KIOA in Des Moines, Iowa and KXOK in St. Louis, Missouri. In the 1960s, he worked at WCAO in Baltimore then bought WBUT in Butler, Pennsylvania. He stayed at WBUT as on air talent after selling the station and ended his career with a talk show on KDKA in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. He retired to the Butler area.
