Electrnic musician from Brooklyn, NY, USA. Also member of Hello Skinny duo (Ricardo Picon and Jeff Knutsen) formed in 2010 Born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela, Picon found early inspiration from synth-pop idols like New Order, Depeche Mode, Cabaret Voltaire, Kraftwerk, The Human League and funkier influences like Prince. Picon’s first band - EOE (Elevate Organica Estate) - was a techno band that used no sequences and was all played live. Becoming part of the new “rave” party hysteria, the band experienced local success in Miami and, later, NYC being signed to the RAWKUS Entertainment label. One record was released, and after pioneering within the electronic music scene in Williamsburg, Brooklyn (1997) the band performed for 3 more years until breaking up in 2000.
