Randy Cornor

American country music singer, songwriter, and guitarist Born: 28 July 1954 in Deer Park (Houston), Texas, USA Died: 24 March 2022. He began playing guitar professionally at the age of 13, first for [a723468], then later for [a4393832]. During his tour years with Watson, he mastered the pedal steel, banjo, fiddle and harmonica. He next worked as a session musician, and soon got a recording contract of his own. He charted six times as a singer between 1975 and 1978 on the U.S. country charts, including once with his own co-written song. His top charter was also his first, "Sometimes I Talk in My Sleep" reached #9 in 1975. "Ring Telephone Ring", which he co-wrote with David Lynn Jones, hit #95 in 1978.
