J.B. Brown - Musical Director Mr. Brown began his musical career at the age of nine when he played in the Louth Salvation Army Band. He played a further three years whilst serving in the Grenadier Guards. Later he played for nine years as principal cornet of the Clapton Congress Hall Band (S.A.). He was employed as a peripatetic brass teacher in Grimsby, and was the Bandmaster of the Grimsby Citadel Salvation Army Band. In 1971 Mr. Brown toured Norway with Gainsborough S.A. Band.
