Mike Hutson

Singer from Surrey, UK who moved into the business side of the industry Hutson began this phase of his career at NEMS before moving to Chappell Music where he ran theLowery Music subsidiary and soon established his own interest in publishing andproduction. He then became creative services manager at United Artists Music before joining Ian Raifini at the inception ofthe Anchor label as general manager of publishing. He remained with Anchor forthree years and became general managerof the record company. Hutson then moved to the United States and joined Arista, most recently holding the position of director of product management for the label. He then joined RSO in 1978 where he was managing director of international operations.
