 Since his first release "Good Will Hunting" Connecticut born Rapper & Producer Mike Reagan (MIKE REAGAN) has constantly strived to not only improve but innovate. For over 35 albums & EP's Reagan has scoured dollar record bins for rare & obscure vinyl crafting beats on the ASR-10, MV-8800, MPC, Maschine. He's takes inspiration from a wide range of sources including; Russian Soundtracks, Progressive Rock, and hard to find Library Records (Bruton Music, KPM). Lyrically Reagan stands apart from his contemporaries, while his earliest releases we're rooted in a Golden Era sound influenced by Nas, Big L, Ghostface Killah & Jay Z; he eventually abandoned the pen. Reagan explained, "After a few projects I found myself punching in every few lines, as I was the engineer/producer". Influenced by Lil Wayne & Kanye he began to structure all his lyrics in the booth, creating a wider palette of sound over time. The change in recording style was apparently fruitful, Reagan opened for Joe Budden on his "No Love Lost Tour" which followed with an East Coast Tour with Boston artist Cam Meekins.
