Curtis Matthews Jr.

Rapper from Omaha, Nebraska. C-Note began his quest for musical supremacy in the early 90s (1993). Although he credits LL.Cool J's "I need love" as one of his first experiences with Hip Hop, Tupac Shakur's "I get around" (1993) confirmed his decision to become a musician. By 1998 14 year old C-Note owned a Casio 32 key Keyboard and would practice daily until his Mother and younger siblings grew tired of it. In 1999 Matthews began to record his first studio sessions in a basement with a high school friend. Foolishly, C-Note would always attempt to freestyle during his early years, to try to prove himself as an artist. After time, C started to hone his delivery while perfecting his voice. Starting in 2005 after working with local engineers representing both Rainbow Productions and Warehouse Productions Matthews was introduced "Moe Smoove" a local DJ representing Smoove Moove Productions and Status One Recording Studio. By 2006 the young musician was one of 3 dominant voices in one of Nebraska's most talented Hip Hop acts "Red City" Now working on a solo project, C-Note is now ready for business once more.
