Об исполнителе:
Bobby López has enjoyed a long and productive career as a professional radio, television and Internet voice talent, producer and innovator. When Bobby was 15, he played a little guitar and he loved music because his brother, Richard “Dickie” López, was a multi-talented musician who played a B-3 organ with fellow Edgewood High School classmate Little Junior Jesse and his Teardrops. This led to Bobby becoming a roadie and driver for the band. Dickie next joined Henry (Peña) and the Casuals and Bobby got to work as an engineer cueing records for Jesse and Henry’s ‘Top Teen Tunes’ on KUKA. He studied RTF at San Antonio College in the early 70s and acquired a First-Class Engineering License. He worked as an on-air announcer at KITE, KTSA, KTFM, KJ-97, KRIO-FM, and more. He was also the first program manager for CMT-Latin America. In 1996, Bobby started his own company, Voice-City Entertainment, providing voice-work and production for stations across the country and in Mexico. In 2000, he built his own studio and started the syndicated ‘Tejano Classic Radio Show’. In 2005 he also started the ‘CD Tex Radio Show’ with partner Bill Green (7). Today, he is the voice of the Tejano Music Awards and the Tejano Music Awards National Radio Show. He has been a producer for the San Antonio Oldies radio show with Henry Peña. Bobby López was inducted into the Tejano Roots Hall of Fame in 2016 and the Texas Radio Hall of Fame in 2017.
