Rongorongo

Rongorongo was an American psychedelic/art rock band formed in Chapel Hill, NC in 2007 by childhood friends Ellis Anderson, Morgan Friedman, Sidney Martin, and Nathan Toben. They began playing together as part of a larger avant-garde music and film collective called The Cumberland County Mean Gang. Rongorongo dissolved by the end of 2008 and the members evolved into other projects such as The Toddlers, Flash Car, Weller, and No One Mind.
