Pioneering Zimbabwean hip-hop duo from Harare, Zimbabwe. Founded in 1985 and comprised of Qwela Tha Brainchild (n.k.a. Metaphysics and MC Tel-A-Rhyme (n.k.a. Terrie Gunz, performing with lyrics in English. The group were featured in the March 1990 issue (Vol. 3, No.2) of The Source Magazine in the United States as the first African hip-hop group to feature in the magazine.
