Blake Nelson (4)

Lead singer, guitarist and songwriter of the short-lived Connecticut punk band October Days while Nelson was a student at Wesleyan University. He went on to begin a writing career in the mid-90s, and continues to write to-date. Most notably, his 1994 novel "Girl," about a girl exploring the northwest coast grunge music scene was adapted into a film in 1998, and his 2006 novel, "Paranoid Park" was later adapted into a film by Gus Van Sant.
