Westside Supremes was a one-off collaboration between Danish/Faroese experimental artist Parl Kristian Bjørn Vester, better known as Goodiepal, and Steen Mogensen, or DJ Kong, co-founder of Multiplex label. The duo released one track, "Slow Down Angel," on 399738 12" sampler EP in 1997. It was re-issued the following year on 185635 CD compilation — mastered by Goodiepal, who previously already worked in the studio on one of Multiplex compilations, 94852. "Tivoli Trax" started as a promotional series featuring local DJs and producers associated with Mantra club, Denmark's first electronic dance music nightclub co-founded by Kong with Henrik Möll. Initially located at Eigens Ballroom between November 1993 and May '94, the club moved to Pakhus 11 and several other locations around Copenhagen before settling at Tivoli Gardens, where it peaked between 1997 and '99.
