London-born dance band vocalist. Born April 22, 1922 Died November 15, 2014. As a vocalist, active in the 1940s and 1950s, later becoming a songwriter and music publisher. He moved to Los Angeles in 1977. Father of Stephen Shane. Music publisher of Cyril Shane Music Ltd.. Frequently sang with [a1663028] and The Skyrockets Dance Orchestra. General manager of Shapiro Bernstein & Co. Ltd. and Shapiro Bernstein Music Limited (1961-68).
