Tony Cahill

Tony Cahill (b.December 20, 1941 South Camberwell, Melbourne, Australia - d.August 13, 2014 in Sydney, Australia) was an Australian drummer and bassist. In the 1960's he played drums with The Purple Hearts and later with [a293531]. When The Easybeats broke up he taught himself the bass guitar. He began working as a session musician and in the mid 1970's joined the band King Harvest as a bassist. Returning to session work he played with various artists including: Ray Charles, Ike Turner, The O'Jays, Martha Reeves and Donna Summer.
