Cy Frost

American music producer, engineer, songwriter, musician and film composer. Born February 28, 1947. He was the senior engineer at Applewood Studios in Golden, Colorado. He has produced music at London's famed Abbey Road Studios, Sunset Sound Factory and American Studios in Los Angeles, and Miami's Criteria Studios. He also was chief engineer at Deep South Studios in Louisiana. He has produced, written, and arranged music with artists that include the London Symphony Orchestra, Paul Butterfield, Allen Toussaint, Bonnie Bramlett, the Brecker Brothers, Sandy Denny, Slim Harpo, and many others. Cy graduated summa cum laude from the University of Colorado Denver, where he also earned his master's degree. He is a member of Mensa. In New Orleans in 2005, Cy was inducted into the Louisiana Music Hall of Fame.
