Neofolk band from Austin, Texas, formed by Gregory Elliot and Melanie Elliot in 2007. Playing with a variable lineup for a time, the band members met Megan Keith and the lineup solidified as Gregory Elliott on vocals, acoustic guitar, and Appalachian dulcimer; Megan Keith on toms, boudhran, vocals, and melodica; and Melanie Elliott on vocals. In 2013, the band changed its name to Dying And Rising.
