Jenny Brooks (2)

Guitarist and vocalist in New York City, where she played with bands in the 1990s and 2000s including Maul Girls, Boo Boo’s Lounge, and Skinny Ruth. Brooks married Stu Klinger in 2001. She received a PHD in Sociology from Fordham University in 2009 and subsequently taught at universities in New York and Troy University in Alabama from 2010 to 2021, specializing in researching protest music, mass media and popular culture, and peace studies.
