The Thousandaires were a seven-piece band based in Milwaukee, WI (USA), active in the late 1990's through the early 2000's that performed original songs combining various genres: soul, ska, dub, pop, dance music and more. Founded by Tom Noble (guitar and vocals), Sage Schwarm (lead vocals) and with initial co-writing and arranging help from Andy Noble (who went on to form Kings Go Forth), the other members included John Craig Walsh III (drums), Nate Vest (percussion & backing vocals), William E. Their music was featured in Season Four of the television show, Sex & The City and also on a television ad for the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design and in the 2007 movie by filmmaker Mark Escribano, "The Super Noble Brothers." A live performance of the Thousandaires is on a compilation CD released by the Milwaukee radio station WMSE. The senior editor of onmilwaukee.com, Bobby Tanzilo, listed the Thousandaires at #90 of his list of 100 Great Milwaukee Music Makers.
