Materialschlacht was a short-lived band around Michael Kemner from the Deutsch Amerikanische Freundschaft, [a518313] from Element Of Crime and Fehlfarben and the punk poet Sylvia James. The musicians described their music as acid punk or "non-system music" and an attempt to overcome the limits of previous music.
