Swedish professional pianist, songwriter, choir director and conductor, born December 5, 1971 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. He grew up in Umeå and Vetlanda and moved to Stockholm in 1992. He is the adopted son of Erikshjälpen's former director Roland Nelsson and Gudrun, unmarried Svensson. In the years 2000–2008, he was a regular member of the music collective Blacknuss. Nelsson began freelancing in 1996 as a pianist and keyboardist in various contexts and quickly became established in the music industry. He writes and produces music and was behind the contribution "Äntligen" with Fre in Melodifestivalen 2004. Nelsson has worked with Swedish artists such as Carola Häggkvist, Jerry Williams, Lisa Nilsson, Eric Gadd and Dr Alban. Some foreign artists Nelsson has played with are Ricky Martin, Mariah Carey, Craig David and Mary J Blige. He is perhaps best known as a team leader in the SVT production "Så ska det låta 2006–2010.
