Donald Davison (2)

At the age of 19 Davison was awarded his Fellowship of the Royal College of Organists. He completed undergraduate studies at Queen's University Belfast where he later served as Lecturer of Applied Mathematics. In 1964 he was appointed organist at St. Jude's parish in East Belfast where he spent 36 years as organist and choirmaster. He was the Belfast city organist for 21 of those years. He was the editor of the 5th edition of the Church of Ireland Hymnal. He died in August 2013.
