To Jade's surprise, her band Blend has became the first in the Middle East to be signed to a major record label. The debut album, Act One, was recorded in 2003, with praise and good touring. At that time, an emerging scene caught her attention: the sexy dance floors of electronic music, and Jade decided to become a DJ. He started throwing unlicensed underground parties in Beirut, hosted his own radio show and finally opened his own club, The Basement, which became a reference in alternative and dance music in Beirut. His DJ career took him to travel the world, playing in cities such as Moscow, Morocco and Berlin. He also set up a recording studio, and began producing and releasing electronic music on labels such as Presslab and Great Stuff. Also made music for the advertising, and formed his own production team with his studio colleague Fe in 2011: “Robert Polson”, and started a new live music/ visual project with VJ TM: The Middle Beast, which mixing his oriental influences with cutting-edge electronic music.
