Lawrence Ross (2) and Bryne Donaldson “Since joining forces as Flavour, multi-saxophonist Bryne Donaldson and keyboardist/arranger Lawrence Ross have been stirring up a lot of grooving, soulful FOOD FOR THOUGHT throughout their home base in the Southwest. Their showcase unique, bold, yet sensual brand of “Groove Jazz” throughout the six track EP, most notably on the some what exotic and infectiously mystical radio hit “Savory”, the kickin’ old school alto jam “JazzMental” and the trippy Latin romp through War’s “Low Rider” they have reimagined as “Take a little Trip”.
