Michael Alexis Dedovitch, also known as Michael Dido (13 February 1901, Taynak, Chelyabinsk Oblast, Russian Empire — 19??), was a Russian-American tenor. He performed with Nikita Balieff's La Chauve-Souris theatrical "revue" troupe in the 1920s, touring in Paris and later London, and appeared on several 10" 78 RPM gramophone records on Columbia and Regal. In the 1930s, Dedovitch naturalized in the United States and adopted a new stage name, "Michael Dido." In addition to serving as the 1st tenor in Russian Imperial Singers, Michael collaborated with other prolific ensembles, including Nicolas Matthey and his Gypsy Orchestra, Don Cossack Chorus General Platoff, and several of Theodore Zarkevich's groups.
