Buddy Duhon

American musician, guitarist and singer, who recorded mainly in Dallas, Texas, in the 1930s and 1940s both as a solo artist and with bands, including [a1394867] and The Sons Of Dixie. At the time of his death he was based in Beaumont, Texas, and had sang in the band of Cliff Bruner for seven years. Born: 18 March 1913 in Broussard, Louisiana Died: 28 March 1949 in Jefferson County, Texas (accidentally drowned after his boat turned over while fishing near Taylor's Bayou)
