Clyde Collins

Australian musician (piano/organ), songwriter & musical director Born: September 25, 1914 in Sydney, NSW, Australia Died: March 11, 2003 (age 88) in Yamba, NSW, Australia Led bands at various Sydney nightclubs in 1930s. Played with Billy Romaine Orchestra in 1939. With Entertainment Unit during WWII, then with Bob Dyer's Atlantiv Show after 1945. Moved to Brisbane in 1951 and had a long engagement leading the orchestra at the Theatre Royal. Also broadcast over the ABC.
