SPUNX

SPUNX (official capitalization) is an electronic project from San Diego, California, USA. Started in 2008 as a solo project of Shayna Gianas (Shayna K. Gianas). During this time, collaborations with Matt Scholey (Machinefiend) flourished. The project ended in 2010, and in 2011, Shayna created the project Wolfskill, and released her debut album ‘SPUNX’ in 2012. In June of that year, Matt joined Shayna and took over the name SPUNX for their collaboration project. With Machinefiend based in Canada and Shayna in San Diego, they swapped files over the internet to create their first album “AVACA”.
