Jean-Daniel Verhaeghe

French film director, producer and writer (b. 26 June 1944). Jean-Daniel Verhaeghe gained prominence for his TV mini-series and adaptations of literary classics, such as Hector Malot's Sans famille, one of Roger Martin Du Gard's magnum opuses, Les Thibault, and Georges Duhamel's Le Clan Pasquier. He regularly collaborated with numerous prominent French actors and actresses, including Jean Carmet, Claude Rich, Carole Bouquet, Claude Jade, Pierre Vernier, Jean-Pierre Marielle, and Bernard Fresson.
