Henrik Heimer

Swedish composer and music director, born 14 December 1866 in Östra Nöbbelöv parish, Kristianstad county, died 1920, He, who was the son of an organist, graduated as an organist in Lund in 1883, as a music director at the Conservatory of Music in Stockholm in 1892, as a music teacher there in 1894 and as an organist there in 1897. He was an organist in Västra Karup and Torekov parishes 1885–98 and in Nyköping's eastern parish 1898– 1901, music teacher at the Higher General School in Skara 1899–1901 and at the Higher General School in Helsingborg from 1901 and organist at St. Mary's Church in Helsingborg from 1904. He published song, organ and piano compositions, including music for Harald Jacobson's lyrics Sweden is in the middle of everything on earth.
