Johnathon Patterson, also known as Kadence, is a spearheading Songwriter, Music Producer, and Recording Artist whose sole mission is to raise the bar within the ever-evolving music industry. Holding years of quality, hands-on experience in music creation, Kadence has an extensive background within the field and leverages his innovative, artistic mind to develop compelling content that leaves his audiences wanting more. Born in Manhattan on November 19, 1997, raised in Jamaica, and currently based in Toronto, Canada since 2015, Kadence discovered early on that he had a rooted ardency for music. He admired how music was an unparalleled expressional outlet and enjoyed being able to intertwine different beats to develop unique final pieces. In fact, much of his childhood was spent skipping classes to play piano in the auditorium, even resulting in being commended by the facility for doing so. This, in conjunction with his keen ability to perform under pressure, straight-forward nature, and 7+ year history of making music, has all positioned Kadence to begin releasing his cornerstone content to the public since mid-2020. Overall, nothing makes Kadence happier than creating authentic pop, hip-hop, rap, and R&B songs that paint incredible pictures, inevitably provoking emotional influence and invested attraction. In the end, his powerful voice and ambiance have already made a profound mark, and with his newest release of "Tryna' Get Paid," it makes it exciting to see what statement-making production he will launch next. When Kadence is not producing, recording, or building his brand image, you can find him studying for his undergraduate degree in Marketing, traveling, playing soccer and basketball, and diligently supporting other artists by leasing to them instrumentals online.
