Леонид Бродский

In 1972, Leonid Brodsky created VIA Fortes at the Arkhangelsk Philharmonic. The ensemble is based on two Gypsy families - Dulkeviches (Дулькевичей) and Grokhovskys (Гроховских). The musical director, Alexey Osipov, achieved a harmonious polyphony, a modern sound of the ensemble while preserving the specific flavor of the gypsy song.
