Chuck Berg

A noted jazz and arts journalist, writing for Downbeat Magazine, Jazz Times, Coda, other publications, and authoring liner notes for many jazz albums. In 1977, he joined the faculty at the University Of Kansas where he greatly enjoyed teaching and serving for the next 39 years, capping his career as Professor Emeritus, Department of Film and Media Studies. Sadly he passed away in July 2016.
