Diana Deutsch

Diana Deutsch is Professor of Psychology at the University of California, San Diego, She studies musical illusions and paradoxes including the octave illusion, the scale illusion, the glissando illusion, the tritone paradox, the cambiata illusion, the phantom words illusion and the speech-to-song illusion. She also studies music memory, and how the sounds of music and speech relate to each other, as well as why some people possess absolute pitch.
